Recorded at Dobrolet Studio A in Saint Petersburg, Velvet Drums captures the warm, full-bodied sound of a DW Collectors Maple kit. Coles 4038 ribbon overheads bring a smooth, gentle top end to the cymbals and the overall kit. The result is a versatile studio drum library that sits naturally in Pop, Rock, Soul and R&B productions, with plenty of room to shape the sound for your mix.

Recorded kit: DW Collectors Maple — 22″ kick; 10″, 12″, 14″ and 16″ toms; Tama Starclassic snare
Included instruments: kick, snare and three toms
RTI: 15 instruments — Natural, Dry and Roomy mixes
RTM: 5 instruments with separate microphone channels
WAV: 1,050 files — raw microphone recordings and Dry, Natural and Roomy mixes
WAV audio: 44.1 kHz / 24-bit PCM
